San Antonio, get ready! — Teens on a Mission V is taking over the Rah! Rah! Room for a full day of live music, teen DJs, art, creativity, and youth/teen/young adult‑run businesses that will blow you away! This event is all about celebrating the next generation of creative entrepreneurs.

Teens on a Mission: Rock For Life is dedicated to our alumni student Max Aparicio, who passed away on Feb. 14. In memory of Max, we will have tables from Empower House and Fiesta Youth at the event to bring awareness about mental health and provide resources. These services are for any teenager/young adult who would like info on getting help with unaddressed mental health-related issues, or even for those who know someone who could benefit from such services.

MAX was a ROCKER of many genres, so we spread out a line-up starting with our High Voltage students who will be playing and will be supported by San Antonio area young bands!

We're Arbiter, a local psych rock band who have been looking to set up more community based events in the city so that the local bands have more of an opportunity to meet each other and play more active and festive gigs, rather than just doing the same sort of bar gigs most of us are used to. We feel that setting up an actual event with vendors at local venues that put care and attention into growing the local scene will create a sense of grounding and comradery that feels missing in a city that by all means should feel more active and receptive to local art.

On that note, we've selected some local favorites (Bitter Critter, CNMN, and The Wizard) along with some up and coming artists who we've seen display talent that deserves to be shown to a wider audience that is appreciative of local music and art.

For clothing vendors we have screen printed (myclownheart) clown themed apparel and embroidered general nerd themed apparel (JoeysEmbriodery). For other goodies we have a vendor (Blood.Poppies.Rituals) who does all things spiritual (herbs, oils, crystals, etc.) and a vendor (Creeper Creations) who creates their own horror themed stuffed animals along with a few other to be announced. For food we have BBS Eatery who mainly provide baked snacks and desserts.

Step into a night shaped by two of the most influential bands of the modern era. On May 15th, Rah! Rah! Room hosts tribute sets dedicated to The Cure and Radiohead, performed live by The English Channels and Paranoid Androids.

From brooding melodies to expansive, layered soundscapes, both bands capture the feel and atmosphere of the originals while bringing it to the stage in a live setting.

We begin with a short, accessible yoga flow to prepare the body and mind for rest. Movements are slow, intentional, and grounding—focused on breath, ease, and release rather than effort or intensity. No prior yoga experience required.

As the movement winds down, you’ll settle onto your mat in any comfortable position and transition into the sound bath. Using crystal bowls, chimes, and resonant tones, you’ll be immersed in a carefully curated soundscape designed to support:
• Nervous system recovery
• Mental clarity and calm
• A reset that restores focus and creative flow

This is a modern, science-informed approach to sound—less spiritual performance, more real recovery. The experience encourages deep relaxation, helping the body shift out of stress and into its natural restorative state.

Led by certified sex educator and sex coach, Jasper St. James, this welcoming, shame-free workshop breaks down exactly what you need to know about pleasuring the booty. We’ll cover the anatomy of anal pleasure, smart and realistic preparation techniques, and proven ways to relax your body so things can feel good. Jasper will also share his favorite tips for building arousal, enhancing sensation, and communicating clearly with partners. Plus, we’ll review beginner-friendly tools and pleasure-forward positions that support comfort, control, and confidence so you can go at your own pace and enjoy the ride.

The event will also feature a curated selection of vendors offering products and resources to support your pleasure journey. Whether you’re curious, already dabbling, or ready to wave the green flag, you’ll leave feeling informed, empowered, and ready to have some backdoor fun.

Fine Print (a.k.a. The Important Stuff):

This event is open to folks of all genders and sexualities. Whether you’re flying solo, coming with a partner(s), or rolling in with your crew, everyone is welcome, as long as you’re 21 years or older.

This workshop is presentation-based. That means you’ll be learning through guided discussion, tips, and interactive education. There will not be any live sexual demonstrations (This ain’t that kind of party. No shade to those kinds of parties, though.) Instead, think of this as a shame-free, inclusive, and affirming space where you can learn, ask questions, and explore safely.

Consent is non-negotiable. That means no touching, no play, and no crossing boundaries without clear, enthusiastic agreement. Respect is mandatory, and so is kindness. No homophobia, transphobia, fatphobia, racism, ageism, sexism, ableism, or any other form of discrimination will be tolerated. If you can’t vibe with respect, this isn’t the event for you.

About Jasper St. James:

Jasper St. James is a Certified Sex Coach and Sex Educator with over 9 years of experience in the field of sexual health and wellness. Formerly with the Sexology Institute, he has spent nearly a decade empowering people to explore intimacy, pleasure, and confidence with knowledge and humor.

Beyond the classroom, Jasper is a proud San Antonio based content creator who highlights the best of the city, the founder and organizer of the You Better Walk: Queer Walking Club, and an award-winning burlesque performer with more than 15 years on stage. A staple in the local queer and creative community, he brings a mix of expertise, authenticity, and unapologetic flair to everything he does.
