Sound Bath and Yoga Flow- Live at Rah! Rah! Room
Join Modern Resonance at The Rah Rah! Room for a 45-minute immersive sound bath paired with a 10-minute gentle yoga flow.
We begin with a short, accessible yoga flow to prepare the body and mind for rest. Movements are slow, intentional, and grounding—focused on breath, ease, and release rather than effort or intensity. No prior yoga experience required.
As the movement winds down, you’ll settle onto your mat in any comfortable position and transition into the sound bath. Using crystal bowls, chimes, and resonant tones, you’ll be immersed in a carefully curated soundscape designed to support:
• Nervous system recovery
• Mental clarity and calm
• A reset that restores focus and creative flow
This is a modern, science-informed approach to sound—less spiritual performance, more real recovery. The experience encourages deep relaxation, helping the body shift out of stress and into its natural restorative state.
Who This Is For
This experience is for you if you:
• Feel mentally overstimulated, stressed, or “always on”
• Want to improve focus, clarity, and creative flow
• Spend a lot of time in your head and need a nervous system reset
• Prefer a grounded, modern approach to wellness (not overly spiritual or performative)
• Are curious about sound and rest as tools for recovery and mental performance
No prior experience with yoga, meditation, or sound baths is needed.
Who This Is Not For
This may not be the right fit if you:
• Are looking for a high-intensity workout
• Prefer constant movement or guided talking throughout
• Are uncomfortable lying still for an extended period
What to bring
Please bring a yoga mat and wear comfortable clothing
Pillows, blankets, boosters, and eye covers are encouraged
Come lie down. Tune out the noise. Leave clearer, calmer, and more rested than when you arrived.
Modern Resonance features Tony Guy, a certified soundbath facilitator in the Auster Sound Method, and JoAnn Gonzales, a certified yoga instructor.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a sound bath?
A sound bath is an immersive sound experience designed to reset your nervous system. Using instruments like crystal bowls, gongs, and chimes, the session helps lower stress, improve mental clarity, and support recovery from the constant stimulation of modern life.
Do I need any experience?
No. This isn’t meditation you have to “get right.” You simply lie down or sit comfortably and let your body respond to the sound.
What should I bring?
Bring a yoga mat to lie on. Also, a pillow and/or a blanket for comfort. If you prefer to sit upright, a chair works too.
What should I wear?
Comfortable, non-restrictive clothing — think performance recovery gear or what you’d wear to relax at home.
Will I fall asleep?
Possibly, and that’s okay. Whether you drift off or stay awake, your nervous system still benefits from the reset.
How long does it last?
See the event description as sessions vary. Please arrive at least 5-10 minutes early to settle in.
Is it safe for everyone?
Most people find sound baths deeply restorative. If you have sound-sensitive conditions (such as epilepsy, recent surgery, or are in early pregnancy), check with your doctor before attending.
Can I bring a friend or teammate?
Yes. Many people come solo, but experiencing it with a friend, partner, or teammate can enhance accountability and recovery together.
Will there be talking during the session?
Aside from a short introduction and closing, it’s all sound — no guided meditation, no chanting, no fluff.
What if I’ve never tried something like this before?
Perfect. This is designed for people new to the practice. You don’t need to “believe” in anything — it’s simply a tool for nervous system recovery and mental performance.
